With China's first national standards for humanoid robotics set to take effect in 2027, the industry is entering a new phase driven by technological innovation, industrial applications, and regulatory standardization. Embodied AI has been highlighted in China's Government Work Report for two consecutive years, while intelligent robotics has been identified as one of six emerging pillar industries under the 15th Five-Year Plan (2026–2030).

Against this backdrop, the Hangzhou International Robotics & Industrial Automation Exhibition 2027 and the 3rd Hangzhou International Humanoid Robotics & Robotics Technology Exhibition, organized by Golden Conference & Exhibition Group, will be held concurrently on May 27–29, 2027, at the Hangzhou Grand Convention & Exhibition Center, China.

Under the themes “From Industrial Automation to Embodied Intelligence” and “Redefining the Humanoid Robotics Supply Chain,” the co-located exhibitions will feature a planned 60,000 sqm of exhibition space, targeting 1,000+ leading companies and research institutions worldwide and 200,000 professional visits from China and overseas.

The industrial automation exhibition will cover 25,000 sqm of net exhibition space across six specialized zones, showcasing technologies and components applicable to both conventional industrial automation and embodied AI systems.

A key highlight will be live demonstrations under real-world operating conditions, featuring four simulated production lines: automotive components, 3C electronics assembly, new energy batteries, and food packaging. Industrial end users will present actual production challenges, while system integrators and humanoid robotics teams will demonstrate their solutions through timed, on-site trials.

Dedicated international buyer matchmaking sessions will also connect qualified overseas buyers with Chinese suppliers through pre-arranged, private B2B meetings, creating new opportunities for global sourcing, technology collaboration, and international market expansion.
